- Avoid sunburns. Limit sun to 15-20 minutes between 10 am and 4 pm.
- Take Vitamin D supplementation if you are avoiding sun.
- Wear sunscreen daily, and year-round.
- Apply it 15 minutes prior to going outside and reapply every 2 hours. Be generous
in the amount you apply.
- Daily wear sunscreen should be at least SPF15. SPF30 or higher is better if
you will be outside longer.
- Sunless tanning lotions are safe to use but do not provide adequate sun
protection by themselves.

- Apply tinted UV protection film to your car windows
- Wear sun protection clothing (such as Solumbra).
